Legacy & Light Publishing was born out of a deeply personal journey—my own. As someone who was adopted from Mexico, raised in the United States, and spent years searching for identity, belonging, and healing, I’ve come to believe that our stories carry power. I found my voice long before I put it on the page—but writing has given me a way to share it. And now it’s my mission to help others do the same.
This space is dedicated to sharing books that reflect the beauty, pain, faith, and resilience found in real life. My Journey to Legacy & Light Publishing
Legacy & Light Publishing was born out of a personal journey of healing and growth. As an author, I understand the power of storytelling to reclaim one’s voice, to heal from the past, and to bring light into the world. My own story—being adopted from Mexico, raised in the U.S., and navigating identity, motherhood, and healing—fuels the mission of this publishing venture.
It began with my memoir, Lost & Found: The Journey of Socorro, a deeply personal story that helped me share my truth with the world. But over time, I realized that my calling wasn’t just to tell my story—it was to create a space where others could tell theirs, too.
Legacy & Light Publishing was created to do just that. While it started with my books, it’s now evolving into a home for other storytellers—writers who are drawn to themes of healing, growth, transformation, and truth. Whether the story is raw and reflective or rich with fiction and imagination, what matters most is that it comes from the heart.
This journey is still unfolding, and I’m honored to share it with every reader, co-author, and future writer who feels called to bring their voice into the light.
