This is the third book of the Redacted series, and it offers perfect closure to the continuing story. Juno's story reached the perfect conclusion and left me a bit surprised. There are multiple twists, and I needed to take a breather to process the storyline. Highly recommended for those who love quick and twisty stories.

It is haunting, intense, and completely addictive. It reads like a fever dream made of static and secrets, part sci-fi thriller, part psychological mystery. Juno is a fascinating character, caught between reality and distortion, and the story pulls you deeper with every page. The writing is sharp and cinematic, filled with eerie atmosphere and clever twists that keep you guessing until the end. It’s the kind of book that makes you question what’s real long after you’ve finished. Dark, smart, and unforgettable. Perfect for fans of Black Mirror or Annihilation.cription goes here

A book on memory confusion that grabs you from the start

Format: KindleVerified Purchase
The book starts with a memory that Caleb doesn’t recognize. A memory that no longer exists, at least not in his memory bank, as he tried to determine who he is and what has happened to him. Finally, he realizes that the memory is still there, it’s just been stored. It’s not accessible. Now he’s forced to rediscover who he is and what happened to him. Truth is a story that leaves the reader on edge throughout as it delves into the psychological depths of who any of us think we are and how much of that is actually the whole “truth.” The language is sharp, crisp, and energetic, and the plot carries the reader along from one twist and turn to the next and back again in search of that “truth.” It’s a mind-bending read that makes a reader question their own memories and what may lie beneath them. How much of us is just a stack of memories, stored to convince ourselves that’s who we are, leaving others hidden. One would rather not look at or recognize. Highly recommended for those who like a crisp psychological thriller that delves into deeply personal questions.r

This story stayed with me long after I finished. The writing is quiet but powerful, and the emotions feel incredibly real. I connected deeply with the main character’s internal struggles and the way the setting mirrored his journey. Every detail felt intentional, and the mix of solitude, survival, and unexpected connection was beautifully done. It’s not a loud or fast-paced story, but that’s what makes it so impactful. One of those rare reads that feels both grounding and uplifting. Absolutely worth five stars.

Abandoned People Wonder The What If?

This phrase sums up the climax “I used to think the worst part was not knowing,” she said. “But it’s not.” “What is?” “It’s knowing—and still feeling like you were never real. Like you were never meant to take up space in the first place.” It unfolds the complexity of struggling with deep feelings of experiences that never happened with the right people. And one of the more heartbreaking aspect was her adopted mother always escapes from facing the truth. Overall a excellent read for those who want to know how discovering abandonment plays out in real life.

This was well-written short story that reminded me in some ways of Stephen King’s Christine. If you like creepy, campy horror stories where the eventual victims use increasingly poor judgment, this book will scratch that itch and then some.

Good Read
Amber Daulton
4 stars LibraryThing
In this personal and religious memoir, Linda tells us the story of her life, starting when she was a toddler lost in the streets of Guadalajara to her adoption and life in the United States, where she becomes the person she was meant to be. In sharing her story, she’s allowing herself to be vulnerable for everyone to see, which takes great strength. I don’t normally read memoirs, and I really don't like reading anything faith-based, but I found this one to be interesting and full of hope. I would’ve liked more information on Linda’s childhood and her relationship with her adopted parents—this part interested me the most—but the story flowed well from one significant life moment to the next.

5.0 out of 5 stars power, trauma, and redemption set against a world of money, crime, and ruthless ambition

A gripping blend of power, trauma, and redemption set against a world of money, crime, and ruthless ambition. Dayana Reyes is a compelling protagonist—ruthless on the surface, deeply wounded underneath—shaped by loss, secrets, and a city that rewards strength over mercy. From high-stakes corporate maneuvering to mafia-tinged street tension, the narrative moves with cinematic precision. The emotional payoff in later chapters—especially the confrontation with her sister Selene and the long-absent Frank—lands with surprising tenderness without sacrificing grit. Stylish, intense, and character-driven, it’s a standout drama about survival, legacy, and the cost of power.

This book gave me goosebumps, as the heartfelt look at mother-daughter dynamics resonated with me deeply. If I become a parent one day, I'll look back fondly on this piece of writing. I’m in awe of Linda Sanchez's idea that parental leadership should encompass "slowing down" and "listening first", challenging the traditional model of control. Her acknowledgement that good parenting means owning up to your own mistakes felt especially powerful to me. I also got chills when Sanchez wrote, "Now, she was building a different kind of table," because I believe parent-child relationships built on mutual respect are something to be cherished. goes here

I think most parents and children go through something similar to what's here. My mother and I did. There just comes a moment of misunderstanding where neither side is willing to back down, and pride forces a disconnect that could last for a long time; too long often, in fact. What Elena goes through here is not unique, but her path away from it is inspiring. She starts to take direction from her intuition and letting what is almost spiritual unfold without trying to control things, thereby bringing her back into a state that some would call faith, other's "flow" towards what even she might have tried to ignore was actually her ultimate goal.

This book stayed with me long after I finished it. It Ends with Him is a deeply emotional and thoughtful story about grief, silence, and the long road to healing. Daniel’s journey feels honest and raw in a way rarely portrayed, especially when it comes to men learning to confront the pain they were taught to hide. What I appreciated most was how grounded the story felt. There is no rush to fix everything or wrap emotions up neatly. Instead, the book allows space for reflection, discomfort, and growth. The writing is intimate and compassionate, drawing you into Daniel’s inner world and making his realizations feel earned rather than forced. This is a book for anyone who has struggled with self worth, emotional suppression, or the weight of expectations placed on them by family and society. It is a reminder that healing does not come from endurance alone, but from honesty and the courage to choose yourself. A moving and meaningful read that I would highly recommend.
